This engine was created from a undecorated Proto 2000 SD9 model. The detail was upgraded using the Details West SD9 Super Detail Kit (DS-335) along with the included P2K parts. The model was then painted using Badger Model Flex paint (16-37 & 16-40) and Microscale decal set 87-11 was used for graphics. The model was then weathered using powders. Electronic wise, the engine is equipped with a TCS LL8 DCC decoder. Lighting is all LED and includes directional headlights, front gyra and emergency light along with numberboards.
